Up until 2020, Joedy McGraw worked in the golf business since 1996. During his first eight years, Joedy worked as a club professional where his responsibilities included managing daily golf shop operations, merchandising, tournament planning and organization, and teaching individual and group lessons and clinics. The clubs he has served include The University of Georgia Golf Club, Chattahoochee Country Club, and here locally at Coosa Country Club, and Horseleg Country Club.
In 2005, Joedy began working in golf course maintenance and spent several years at Cherokee Golf & Country Club in Cedartown, Georgia before becoming Head Superintendent of BEAA Country Club in Rome in late 2011. In the summer of 2013, Joedy moved back to Cherokee Golf & Country Club to serve as a golf professional and pro shop manager. A year later, Joedy moved back to BEAA as general manager/superintendent, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club as well as the maintenance of the golf course. In 2017, Joedy became the general manager of Cherokee Golf & Country Club, then moved to Cedar Valley Golf & Country Club.
In 2020, Joedy earned his realtor license and now works for Elite Group Georgia.
